- Performs diagnostics of FET driver circuitry of inductive loads
- Detects the following faults
- Open load-circuit
- Shorted load-circuit
- Parameterized fault detection timing thresholds
- Uses input signals from external comparator circuits for fault detection
- Disables FET gate signal upon fault conditions
- Reports fault conditions via flag register
