  • Tracks quadrature encoded signals in four different modes:
    • Bi-directional ABZ
    • Range Limit
    • Non-recycle
    • Modulo N
  • Parameterized decoder count width
  • Presetable decoder count value
  • B signal input can be disabled for non-quadrature pulse counting
  • Generates the following output signals and flags
    • Direction output signal
    • Overflow toggle output signal
    • Underflow toggle output signal
    • Change of direction output flag
    • Overflow output flag
    • Underflow output flag
    • Z signal output flag
